PRESS RELEASE
B60ZAC and B80ZAC walkie/riders handle more loads with less effort to maximize productivity
(Greenville, North Carolina, USA: July, 2007) Hyster Company (www.hysteramericas.com) introduces the Hyster B60ZAC and B80ZAC AC-powered walkie/rider pallet trucks. The new Hyster walkie/riders feature a patent-pending, industry-first Power Assist Steering option and the latest AC Traction Control technology to deliver maximum productivity, enhanced ergonomics, superior dependability, and easy serviceability. With increased efficiency and optional double- and triple-pallet fork lengths, the new Hyster walkie-riders move more loads with less effort.
The Hyster B60ZAC and B80ZAC walkie/riders’ Power Assist Steering option enhances truck maneuverability, making these trucks ideal for moving loads through tight turns and crowded loading or staging areas. Power Assist Steering also decreases operator fatigue by reducing the effort necessary for steering, increasing productivity over the course of a shift.
Fitted with the latest advancements in AC Traction Control technology, the B60ZAC and B80ZAC provide increased torque, pace setting travel speeds and smooth acceleration. The AC Traction Control System offers four performance modes tailored to the skill level of the operator or to specific customer requirements. The AC traction transistor controller also eliminates motor brushes and directional contactors, increasing reliability and minimizing maintenance requirements.
““The new Hyster walkie/rider trucks offer customers the latest innovations in hand pallet trucks,” says Paul Laroia, president, Hyster Company. “ Enhanced design features and a variety of options make the B60ZAC and B80ZAC a valuable addition to any warehouse or distribution operation.”
To further increase operator comfort and productivity over a full shift, Hyster walkie/riders feature a new control handle, shock absorbing floor mat, low platform step height, and large operator area. An “extended shift” setting can also be used to enable walkie/riders to operate longer between battery charges.
Hyster offers an industry-first extreme corrosion and wash down package for its walkie/rider trucks. This innovative package includes completely galvanized chassis, forks, and load wheel linkages, eliminating rusting and repainting to give the trucks ultimate durability and longevity. With this package, Hyster walkie/riders withstand the harshest conditions in the toughest applications, including meat and poultry processing plants, food processing plants, and salt and brine environments such as loading docks.
